Ideas for my next article

So for my next Semi-fortnightly Ramble article, I was planning on going through my short list of what I deem to be some of the most useless bits of technology in the world today...or yesterday.

But, I figured I could make the article much more fun to read if I included ideas from the audience. I already have a list of what I think are the most useless techno-trinkets. But, if you would, post some of your ideas and I'll use them in the article, giving full credit where credit is due, and expound upon their uselessness and generally make fun of them.

Serial ports

Floppy Disc drives and discs

Cigarettes (arrgggh, this one is mine)

Internet TV boxes, you know what I mean, like the crap Micro$oft had years ago

Tape decks, they're crap, now that digital is so much easier, and CD burning cheap enough

Same goes for DAT tapes, and I suppose records, although DJ's like them still

Cordless phones, they never work very well anyways, and a cell phone can serve as a person's main phone now, in most cases a whole family can sign up and get cell phones

Laser-disc, oh my god
