For anyone out there concerned with their privacy while on the internet, check out Tor

This program, in conjuction with another one called privoxy, does a good job at hiding your location. Privoxy acts as the proxy to reroute traffic through tor which bounces the connection through random servers. The nice thing about this software is that it is free and from the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) no less. It is also using technology developed by the Naval research center. It appears to work

yes but it must be slow as hell on acount that you must connect with the proxy server, then the proxy server finds the url and sends the info back to you....

Actually, there is very little lag. The proxy is local so there is no latency with that portion.
