Nvidia 6600 to 6800

Has anybody tried to mod their 6600 to a 6800? You can do this by downloading Riva Tuner and unlocking the extra 4 pipelines, but some brands will not have the capabilites to unlock the extra 4. For example, when I tried to turn my old Evga GeForce 6200 into a 6600 (by unlocking 4 more pipes), it just wouldnt change because I had the wrong revision.

My question for you guys is if you have done this with a 6600, could you tell me which brands worked for you? ( or at least help me find my answer!)

I'm pretty sure that the 6600GTs have their own architecture separate from the 6800s, and do not have extra pipes to be unlocked, except with maybe the AGP versions, which do not all have eight pipes open to begin with.

But yeah, the 6600s are special like that.
