Hi, need some clarification on mobo,s as i am new to rig biulding etc.
Got my eye on an Asus P5K-E/ WIFI-AP mobo. Also i want to fit a Geforce 8800gt GPU. Now, reading up on this board, it says that its crossfire ready. Does this mean that, although i can fit the Geforce card as a single PCI-E, i wont be able at a later date , fit two as the board has two PCI-E slots. Hope you can clear this up. Thanks.

Not unless Intel licenses SLI from NVIDIA, which there are constantly rumors of. I wouldn't count on it. For what it's worth, CF and SLI don't work so hot in 16x/ x4 configurations anyway. I mean, it's better than a single card, but not as good as if you get a x16/ x16 board.

In that price bracket, for SLI support, you'll want to look at nForce 750i motherboards (x16/ x8, BTW, but that's still a step up).
