Google is one of the largest companies in the world, with a wide variety of services and products in its portfolio, and one of its most successful commodities is definitely its browser, Chrome. This browser is highly popular on both mobile and PC platforms.
As you probably know, this browser uses the Google search as its default home page, giving you the best possible search results. However, what if you want Bing or Facebook to be your home page? What do you have to do to change it?
How to Set a Homepage in Google Chrome
The process of changing your home page in Chrome is actually pretty straightforward and demands the following:
- First, you need to enter Chrome’s “Customization options” or “More”.
- Enter “Settings”
and go to “Appearance” in the newly opened window.
- After you have done that, enter your desired homepage web address (in our case www.thetechlounge.com) in the appropriate field and that is it.
- Go to the “Home” button in the top-left corner of the browser, click on it
and, if your desired web address appears in the browser, you have successfully changed your Chrome homepage.
